This is a good day and hassle free at all, today is a local election for barangay officials so no traffic and less vehicles on the road. i came up early at the hotel at around 7:30 am and my work time is 8:00 am, I'm not late this time and the good news no hassle on work it's low occupancy right now because of this coming November 1. all souls and all saints day are two days to come and most of them are going to their provinces early to avoid the traffic and the rush hour.

I and my wife are planning to go home in siniloan laguna to visit our relatives in the cemetery and to pray for their souls. we will go there in the 1st of November in the morning and after that we will come back in calamba on the 3rd of November so we have 3 days vacation that we will spend there in siniloan with our relatives and i hope that my kids will enjoy their vacation with their cousins and Friends.

We do these every year it's a Filipino tradition on all souls day the Filipino family visits their relative in the cemetery to pray for their souls it's in our culture and many Filipino are planning ahead of time for what will they do and what they will bring in the cemetery. many of them bring foods, soda's and candles to light up while they are praying, and some of them bring cards and other games to play but let's not do that, we must know that this is a time to pray for the souls of our love ones to be in peace and to offer them a prayer will help there souls to feed and to be peaceful where ever they are.

This is the view from a 16Th floor of a building along the Roxas Boulevard you can See how polluted the air you will see the smokey air that cause by smoke belching vehicles and other fossil fuels in the city.



It means that this is the air we breath in everyday, imagine how bad it is, it is very dangerous to our health. but how does the people and the government do to fight this? if i will ask you what will you contribute or what will you do in your own simple way to help eliminate this problem or to reduce the air pollutions?

i heard this myth / belief or story in one of the TV show here in the Philippines this is about the peoples in the province of bohol, they called it "The Boat Coffin" the villager and fisherman's are offering foods, drinks and cigarettes in one of the cave in an island in their province and they said that they are offer this to give thanks and to have a blessings for there families, and to capture many fish from the sea.

This time i will featured this finger food, this is match with some soda, iced tea, punch or beer while watching TV or in a party try this "cheese stick with bell pepper" this is very simple here are the steps and procedures:

Ingredients:

-Lumpia Wrapper
-Eden cheese or any kind of cheese you want
-Bell Pepper

Dipping Sauce:

1 Cup Mayonnaise
1 tsp. Garlic Chop/minced
Salt & pepper to taste

Procedure :
Wrapped the sliced cheese and bell pepper in Lumpia wrapper
Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown, Drain on paper towel.

Dipping Sauce :
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and chill before serving.

This is one of the popular Filipino Dish called " Sinigang Na Hipon " last Sunday when I'm off to my work i decided to cook this Dish sinigang na hipon ( shrimp with tamarind soup) one of my kids favorite dish for our dinner.. they enjoy eating this shrimp with a mix vegetables radish eggplant, tomatoes, and kangkong(water spinach)with a tamarind based soup. my kids said that it was delicious and they want more.... try this recipe...

The Philippines is one of the countries in the world that have a passenger vehicles called "jeepneys" that cruising everywhere in the country for Filipino commuters. a good news is this Green Renewable Independent Power Producer Inc (GRIPP) started testing electric-powered Jeepneys in Makati City Friday. Greenpeace and the Makati City government helped develop and finance these 10- to 12-seat electric vehicles, which are made in China.this electric jeep has a 12 batteries with 5 hp electric motors engines that gives a range of 120 to 140 kilometers while cruising at 40 kph. you will only charge it for eight (8) hour at a charge of Php 120 will recharge the e-Jeepney, compared to a diesel Jeepneys that uses Php 300. as a part of the promotions there will be soon 50 e-jeepneys will cruising in makati and other cities here in the Philippines, and the stated goal is to expand the use of e-Jeepneys in the future.

Had a Bad day...

This week I'm very busy in my work and today I'm not feeling well, it' a bad day for me, because i have this headache since last night although I'm not feeling well i have to go to work i take some medicine to relief the pain and it's not working. i will update my site if i have enough time and feeling well. but now i have to go to bed and sleep maybe tomorrow I'm alright.. i just leave you this song...

Work work work!!!

This day is very hard, many work to do because of high occupancy in the hotel that means were on back to back a hundred percent of arrival guests and also hundred of departure guests. but i did all my works done in time and with no hustle at all, except our duty supervisor it sucks and she's a pain in the ass!!! she always give me a headache but i don't mind her as long i do my job and finish my duties and responsibilities.

This morning i ride again with the same bus yesterday and you know what same bus again when i go home, is that a coincidence or what? may be it's not as long as we are safe in the travel way back home...

Poor Education can resolve

As i watch the TV this night one of the news is about the poor education here in our country, and almost 2.56% of the student now cannot read simple sentence and cannot recognized some alphabet letter, some of them can read but cannot understand what they are reading. maybe the reason why they cannot read and understand is lock of books and the children now is very lazy in studying their lesson instead they want to play rather than to study.

i remember when i watch this movie the "IDIOCRACY" this is about the story of Joe Bowers he's not sharpest tool in the shed, But when a government hibernation experiment goes awry bowers awakens in the year 2505 to find a society so dumbed-down by mass commercialism and mindless TV programming that he's become the smartest guy on the planet. now it's up to an average Joe to get human evolution back on tracks...

Just like in the movie there's always a way to improve the education and if the government will act and provide solutions to the problem their will be a good outcome and with the help of parents to teach their kids in their own way with 1 hour tutorial everyday will help their kids to improve their reading so their knowledge will be better than today. as a parent we don't want our kids to become how can i say this "mindless" you know what i mean, and the only solution is teach them to study well and guide them in the right path so they will not go to the wrong path unless you would like your kids to be in that way and hoping that our government will not let this happen like in the movie idocracy.

It's been a while

It's nice to be back after a hard work!! it's been a while since i post my article and i missed the things i do with my blog, i have this little time to right what i do everyday. I work in a prestige hotel in the Philippines as a service associate (room attendant) so i been busy a day.... imagine i travel almost 1 1/2 hour from my home to work with a heavy traffic everyday it gives me stress before i go to my work because of the construction in the express way... my everyday job is to clean a 14 rooms from 8 am up to 4 pm it's hard to imagine that you will clean a disaster room everyday but I'm happy with my work and i enjoy with it. with this type of work you will encounter and meet many people with different nationalities and personalities it will give you knowledge to handle and talk to different kinds of people everyday so I'm very thankful to have this job if you can see it's very hard to find a job this day so it's better to have a good job in this field. i been their in almost 1 year so it's easy for me to do this job and i always think that i will improved more and be good asset of this company, one thing i want to say, be professional in what kind of job you have and what ever kind of people you meet....


And thanks for my wife she's always been there for me to take care and appreciate what I'm doing..
